Elena Chennoufi focuses her practice on employment-based (immigrant and nonimmigrant) and family-based immigration matters, with particular expertise in petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability (O-1 and EB-1-1). She earned a Bachelor of Law in French and English Law from the University of Rennes I in France, an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Exeter in the UK, and a Master’s in International and European Law from the University of Paris-Dauphine in France. Elena also holds an LLM in U.S. & Global Legal Studies from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

She joined Barst & Mukamal LLP in 2022 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2023. Elena is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is fluent in both French and English.
