Ms. Kirk received a B.A. in English from Vassar College in 2007 and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2015.

During law school, she served as a Legal Intern with both Fordham’s Immigrant Rights Clinic and Immigration Equality, as well as a staff member of the Fordham International Law Journal.

Having first joined Barst as a paralegal in 2010 and continuing on as a Law Clerk during much of law school, Ms. Kirk returned to the firm as an associate in 2015 and has gained broad experience in employment- and family-based immigration law matters.  Her particular areas of expertise include H-1B petitions (with a particular focus on wage, specialty occupation and “right to control” issues and Request for Evidence responses); new office L-1 petitions for tech startups; and establishing and renewing Blanket L-1 programs for large multinational organizations.
