Barst Partner Alexis S. Axelrad and other experts will address the question, “Emerging from COVID-19: Can Our Clients Travel Again?” in an 11-11:50 a.m. EST session on day two of this virtual conference. As vaccine distribution expands, clients’ interest in traveling is increasing. But there are still many impediments, and this panel will attempt to make sense of which restrictions remain and which barriers to travel have been lifted. The group will review appointment availability and processing times, both for immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, in discussing the resumption of visa processing, in addition to touching on executive orders and travel restrictions, CDC requirements for entry to the U.S. from abroad, National Interest Exemptions and satisfactory departure, and National Visa Center backlogs.
