
The panel discussion, entitled “Hot Topics,” will include a conference participant interactive session on Consulate adjudication trends and alerts. Alexis and the other panelists will discuss backlogs at different Consulates in the wake of COVID-19; how to obtain information clients have already provided to government agencies and ethical issues; remote offices and the impact on H visa applicants; significant changes at CIS, CBP, DOS, ICE and legislation; what the Biden administration has done to benefit the immigration community; and a Department of Labor update on wages. The session is scheduled for the second day of the two-day conference from 8:45-10 a.m. RMT.
