Barst Mukamal & Kleiner LLP Partner Alexis S. Axelrad will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Travel Bans and National Interest Exceptions” at the American Immigration Lawyers Association California Chapters Virtual Conference on November 18, 2021, at 4 p.m. PST (7 p.m. EST).
The panel will discuss the end of COVID-19 travel bans and national interest exceptions (NIEs) and provide updates on the current state of play for securing visa appointments and submitting expedite requests at U.S. Embassies and Consulates. Other topics will include vaccination requirements as well as best practices by Consular post for matters such as Third-Country National (TCN) processing and securing visas for cases that were previously denied NIE waivers.
