Born in New York City, Dawn S. Resnick has over a decade of experience in Immigration and Nationality Law. Admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey in 1995, Ms. Resnick is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York Women’s New York State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Ms. Resnick is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School where she was an editor of the International Law Journal while also completing an internship in pro-bono immigration law. She received her undergraduate degree from The State University of New York, College at Oneonta, where she was editor of The Oneonta.

Ms. Resnick assists clients in all areas of immigration law, including family-based immigration, employment-based nonimmigrant petitions (e.g., H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, E-1, and E-2 visas). She also represents individual investors who are seeking an E-2 Treaty Investor visa as well as those seeking to obtain permanent residency through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Ms. Resnick can also assist foreign nationals obtain citizenship in Grenada and certain other nations in order to qualify them to apply for E-2 Treaty Investor visas. Ms. Resnick also represents individuals with extraordinary ability in the areas of art and business, including world-renowned photographers, musicians, physicians, and researchers.

Furthermore, as a volunteer at Casa Freehold, a not-for-profit organization, Ms. Resnick assists the most vulnerable members of the community with all immigration needs, including political asylum applications, U-visa petitions, family-based petitions, and labor certification applications. In her free time, Ms. Resnick is a volunteer EMT for her hometown and an active member of both a middle school and high school executive board.
